Sonic Mania Sega Saturn Japanese Cover

Would fit perfectly on the Saturn, Sonic Jam was released for the console and Sonic Mania would be awesome on the system. The 32/64 bit era was a time for transformation in the gaming industry, more than any time before, most 3D games that were 2D ended up pretty bad on that time, there are few exceptions. I sometimes imagine what would have been if they made titles like these, true upgrades from what was already great on older systems, I imagine a Streets of Rage for Saturn, in 2D of course, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Altered Beast, all those exclusives that would be jaw dropping in a much more powerful system. While they surely should work on the ones that started in 3D in that era and were great, like Burning Rangers, Grandia, Virtua Cop, Daytona, etc., etc.
